Saudi Qmam’s Visit to Korean Hospitals Highlights PnT’s successful Healthcare Innovations in the country
In early October, we were thrilled to host Mohamed from Qmam Shar, a key partner from Saudi Arabia, at our South Korea headquarters. This visit marked an invaluable opportunity to deepen our strategic alignment and share our latest advancements in healthcare technology. Together, we explored the full capabilities of our IndoorPlus+ solutions, reviewed ongoing projects, and discussed how our technology could bring added value to healthcare environments abroad. Mohamed’s hands-on experience with our solutions underscored our shared commitment to transforming healthcare through practical, real-time innovations.
A Comprehensive Showcase at Kangdong Hospital
The first stop on Mohamed’s agenda was Kangdong Hospital, where he experienced our solutions directly in a clinical setting. Our team began with a comprehensive demonstration of the IndoorPlus+ deployment, offering a complete overview of the platform’s capabilities. We explored our asset tracking and management tools, cold chain monitoring, and features designed to streamline processes, from equipment rental management to medical waste tracking.
Following the tour, Mohamed had the opportunity to experience several of our latest functionalities up close. He observed how real-time exit notifications ensure assets remain in designated zones, and he saw firsthand the accuracy of location tracking, from mobile assets to stationary temperature sensors in refrigerated units. The tour highlighted how our technology adapts to each hospital’s specific needs, creating a fully integrated system that healthcare professionals find easy to use and highly effective.
Our hospital partners shared invaluable feedback on how IndoorPlus+ impacts daily operations, and the nursing staff’s insights were especially impactful. They emphasized how the technology helps reduce stress and frees up time to focus on patient care. As one nurse put it, “In the past, we spent so much time checking asset availability at the beginning of our shifts, which was stressful and took time away from patient care. Now it’s done in a few clicks, saving time and reducing stress.” This direct feedback resonated deeply, underscoring the essential role our solutions play in creating efficient and supportive work environments for healthcare staff.
Advanced Capabilities Demonstrated at Ilsan Hospital
Next, Mohamed visited Ilsan Hospital, where our solution has been deployed in the cardiology department and beyond. The team provided an in-depth presentation of the IndoorPlus+ features specific to Ilsan, including device monitoring of essential medical equipment like blood pressure monitors, IV pumps, and scales. One unique feature, the nurse alarm system, caught Mohamed’s attention. This system alerts nurses to urgent updates via smartwatches, ensuring quick response times and reinforcing patient safety. Mohamed appreciated the utility of these systems, noting how they contribute to real-time decision-making and improved patient outcomes.
A tour of the cardiology department offered Mohamed further insights. He visited nurse stations equipped with comprehensive dashboards displaying live asset locations, cold chain status, and patient monitoring metrics, all in one central view. The large screens placed in hallways and stations allow nurses to monitor key data continuously as they move throughout the ward. Our deployment at Ilsan Hospital, established in 2020, has become a prime example of how the IndoorPlus+ platform integrates smoothly into clinical workflows, increasing the quality of care and boosting operational efficiency.
The team at Ilsan also shared their experience implementing these systems over time. Initially, the changes required an adjustment period, but as workload pressures grew, staff quickly recognized the benefits. Now, our solutions are an integral part of their routine, offering vital support for daily hospital operations and ensuring resources are used optimally.
A Lasting Partnership and Exciting Prospects
Mohamed’s visit highlighted the value of close collaboration and direct engagement. By experiencing our technology in live hospital environments, he gained a clear understanding of its strengths and the ways it supports healthcare professionals. We also took the opportunity to discuss future plans and projects, exploring new avenues for collaboration and identifying shared goals for expanding these solutions internationally.
This visit solidified our partnership and underscored our mutual commitment to supporting healthcare innovation. We look forward to deepening our work with Mohamed and expanding the reach of People and Technology’s solutions, bringing impactful technology to healthcare environments worldwide. Together, we’re making a tangible difference in healthcare—one deployment at a time.
