People&Technology (PNT), a specialist provider of medical AX/DX-based smart hospital service platforms, announced that through a strategic partnership with Dong-A ST, it has deployed a real-time patient monitoring solution at Incheon Christian Hospital (Hospital Director Hyeong-gi Kim). This deployment spans Wards 15, 16, 17, and 18, as well as the ICU and hemodialysis unit, realizing an integrated hospital-wide monitoring system that covers everything from general wards to critical care environments for severely ill patients.
Through this deployment, Incheon Christian Hospital has strengthened 24-hour intensive monitoring for ICU patients and established a system to track the vital signs of hemodialysis patients in real time, enabling immediate response to emergencies that may arise during treatment. The hospital has also expanded integrated monitoring to general wards, further raising the overall level of patient safety management across the hospital.
The deployed solution collects core biometric data — including ECG, heart rate, and oxygen saturation — in real time through the patch-type wearable ECG device "HiCardi" and the portable pulse oximeter "Nonin." The collected data is transmitted to People&Technology's smart hospital platform "IndoorPlus+ SmartCare" for integrated management, via an electronic nameplate that serves as both a bedside information display and an IoMT gateway, and the "V3 Gateway," which receives Bluetooth signals and relays data to the server.
With this deployment, medical staff at Incheon Christian Hospital can now monitor patient biometric data in real time on a single platform — from general wards to the ICU and hemodialysis unit — and respond quickly through immediate alerts when abnormal signs occur.
