People and Technology Continues Strong Performance in Smart Hospital Sector

Seoul – September 13, 2022 –
People and Technology Co., Ltd. is maintaining its positive trajectory in the smart hospital sector through the second half of 2022. The company secured contracts earlier this year to provide asset tracking solutions to Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital and implement a smart asset management system at Ajou University Hospital. Furthermore, People and Technology was selected for the 2022 AI Voucher Support Program in collaboration with Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital.
Contracts with Korea University Anam Hospital and Severance Hospital in Sinchon are also expected to be finalized soon.
On September 23, the company signed an MOU with Yonsei University College of Medicine’s Yongin Severance Hospital for a smart management project for high-risk inpatients. This project leverages smart medical solutions to comprehensively collect and analyze patient data for managing high-risk inpatients.
Through this collaboration, Yongin Severance Hospital will integrate various wired and wireless medical devices and wearable sensors to monitor data such as:
- Vital signs
- Fall risk
- Physical activity levels and quality
- Sleep duration
- Device usage time
These data points will be analyzed in real-time using AI to enhance patient care.
Expanding Public Hospital Initiatives
In the latter half of the year, the company plans to expand its public hospital initiatives, which are expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and further drive smart hospital adoption.
Additionally, People and Technology is actively participating in optimizing outpatient services in hospitals, including:
- Self-service kiosks for outpatient registration.
- Real-time outpatient waiting time notifications.
- Mobile automatic payment systems.
K-HOSPITAL FAIR 2022 Participation
From September 29 to October 1, People and Technology will participate in the K-HOSPITAL FAIR 2022 at COEX, Seoul. The company will co-host a booth in the Smart Hospital Pavilion, showcasing real-world implementations of its solutions.
The Smart Hospital Pavilion will highlight innovations from the Smart Hospital Pioneering Model Development Support Project, including:
- Asset location tracking.
- Smart asset management.
- Smart infection control.
- Nursing workflow optimization.
- Smart abnormal behavior monitoring.
These exhibits will demonstrate how smart hospital technologies are transforming hospital operations to enhance efficiency, timeliness, and the overall patient experience.
