People and Technology Receives Minister of Health and Welfare Award

People and Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hong Seong-pyo, Lim Jin-soon), an enterprise AI services company, announced that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award from the Ministry of Health and Welfare (Minister Cho Kyu-hong) on December 7, 2023.
As a participating organization in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Smart Hospital Leading Model Project, People and Technology has actively participated in various government-supported initiatives, contributing to the advancement of healthcare and the improvement of public health through its involvement in information and communication technology (ICT)-based medical policy projects. The company’s efforts were recognized, leading to the prestigious award.
In 2020, People and Technology contributed to the Smart Infection Management project led by the National Health Insurance Corporation Ilsan Hospital, working on building a smart hospital and community network (SSaFE-Net) for infectious disease response. The company also participated this year in developing a Hospital Environment Management Model for smart hospital environments under the leadership of Kangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital, focusing on solving unmet medical needs in healthcare settings.
Furthermore, People and Technology has successfully secured contracts for the Smart Hospital Model Implementation and Construction Projects for a total of nine hospitals, including Daegu Medical Center, Gangwon Province Wonju Medical Center, Chungcheongnam-do Cheonan Medical Center, and three hospitals under Gyeonggi-do Medical Center, thus expanding its influence as a leading digital healthcare industry company in South Korea.
The company’s IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) solution, IndoorPlus+ Smart Care, has been instrumental in maximizing hospital operational efficiency through automation and digitalization. It provides optimal smart outpatient systems and in-patient monitoring systems, with a user-friendly interface based on its extensive experience in smart hospital model development. Additionally, People and Technology has integrated various functions with existing systems, providing real-world data based on expertise to lay the foundation for providing the highest quality medical services.
