Enterprise AI services company People and Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hong Seong-pyo, Lim Jin-soon) has successfully secured the Smart Hospital Model Implementation Project at Samcheok Medical Center in Gangwon Province.
This project is part of the 5th Phase of the Regional Public Hospital Functional Reinforcement Project, initiated in 2022. The aim is to restore the medical functions and public healthcare capabilities of regional public hospitals that were designated and operated as COVID-19 treatment centers during the pandemic. The focus is on enhancing the public healthcare system and improving competitiveness through smart hospital innovations.
The scope of the project includes automating inpatient nursing tasks (such as monitoring IV infusion status and linking vital signs data with the EMR), using kiosks for unmanned operations, and optimizing the flow of outpatient visitors through big data systems. The main goal is to improve hospital operations, implement a smart hospital model for public hospitals, and provide a system to support medical staff while enhancing operational efficiency.
People and Technology will use its IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) solution, IndoorPlus+ SmartCare, to maximize hospital operational efficiency through automation and digitalization. The company will provide an optimized smart outpatient system and implement the smart hospital model based on its experience and user-friendly interface.
In addition, the company will integrate various functions with existing systems and offer real-time data based on its expertise to reduce treatment gaps for local patients, alleviate the burden on medical staff, and improve healthcare quality, ultimately establishing the foundation for delivering top-tier medical services.
A representative from People and Technology stated, “This project aims to optimize outpatient flow, introduce a smart hospital model for public hospitals, and implement a system that supports medical staff. We believe this project will enhance healthcare quality, strengthen public hospital capabilities, and transform these hospitals into safer environments for patients and more convenient workplaces for medical staff through the integration of ICT technologies.”
