Seoul – July 12, 2021 – People & Technology, a leader in IoT data services across industries, announced its registration in the 2021 Smart Factory Supplier Pool on July 1. This registration enables the company to participate in government-led matching programs between demand-side companies and solution providers, supporting the expansion of smart factories. The recognition underscores the company’s technological and business capabilities, having successfully passed the rigorous review process of the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team (SMIPT).
The SMIPT supports manufacturing innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by facilitating the adoption and enhancement of smart factories tailored to local needs. Its initiatives include segmenting support into areas such as data analytics and cloud-based solutions, customized by region and company demand. This approach ensures that smart factory solutions align with industry-specific characteristics and enables pre-agreement on requirements between demand and supply companies. Additionally, the Smart Factory Level Confirmation System provides a quantitative evaluation framework for smart factory systems.
