People&Technology Strengthens Its Asia-Pacific
Presence at WHX Osaka 2026

- Company Presents Smart Hospital Technologies to Healthcare Leaders Across Japan and Southeast Asia -

People&Technology presents its Smart Hospital portfolio at WHX Osaka 2026 in Osaka, Japan.

People&Technology (PNT), a Korean provider of AI and IoT-powered smart hospital solutions, successfully concluded its participation in WHX Osaka 2026, held from July 2 to July 4, 2026, at INTEX Osaka, Japan.

Participating within the Korean Pavilion, People&Technology presented its smart hospital technologies to healthcare professionals, hospital representatives, public institutions, distributors, and technology partners from Japan and across the Asia-Pacific region.

The company showcased its IndoorPlus+ Smart Hospital Platform, including real-time location services, patient and asset tracking, smart sensing, vital signs monitoring, contact tracing, and hospital workflow optimization solutions.

WHX Osaka, formerly known as Japan Health, is a specialized healthcare and medical technology exhibition connecting international companies with the Japanese and wider Asian healthcare markets. The 2026 edition brought together more than 420 companies and participants from over 45 countries.

.

During the three-day exhibition, People&Technology collected 80 global business leads and identified more than 10 highly qualified opportunities for continued discussion.

Although the overall number of visitors was lower than at large general technology exhibitions, the quality of engagement was particularly strong. Visitors included hospital executives, doctors, healthcare digital transformation leaders, government-related healthcare institutions, hospital associations, distributors, and system integrators.

Many visitors spent significant time at the People&Technology booth, asking detailed questions about the practical use of hospital RTLS, patient safety technologies, hospital system integration, and smart hospital workflows.

Several discussions have already progressed into post-event follow-up meetings and exchanges, demonstrating that the exhibition generated concrete opportunities rather than only general brand exposure.

One of the strongest outcomes of WHX Osaka 2026 was the high level of interest from Southeast Asian healthcare markets. People And Technology received particularly strong engagement from organizations based in Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan.

Healthcare providers and partners from these markets showed interest in areas such as patient and asset tracking, fall prevention, contact tracing, vital signs monitoring, smart wards, and hospital digital transformation.

The high level of regional interest reflects the growing demand for practical and scalable technologies that can improve patient safety, hospital efficiency, and care quality while integrating with existing hospital environments. The event also created new opportunities for potential hospital visits, technology evaluations, local partnerships, and market development activities across Southeast Asia.

Participation in WHX Osaka provided People&Technology with valuable insight into the structure and needs of the Japanese healthcare market. Japan continues to invest in smart hospitals, elderly care technologies, patient monitoring, operational efficiency, and healthcare digitalization. These priorities are closely aligned with People And Technology's experience in RTHS (Real-time Health Systems), smart sensing, connected care, and hospital workflow optimization.

The exhibition also confirmed that interoperability will be essential for successful market entry. Japanese hospitals commonly rely on third-party hospital information systems and technology vendors, making integration capabilities and partnerships with local system integrators especially important, which People and Technology continue thriving in at a global scale.

People&Technology's platform-based approach is well positioned for this environment because its technologies can support multiple use cases while connecting with existing hospital systems, devices, and infrastructure. The company will continue exploring relationships with Japanese healthcare institutions, industry experts, technology companies, and professional networks to strengthen its understanding of local requirements and build a sustainable market-entry strategy.

People&Technology's participation highlighted the competitiveness of Korean healthcare technology and Korea's growing role in the global smart hospital sector. The company's solutions attracted attention because they address practical challenges faced by healthcare providers worldwide, including inefficient hospital workflows, limited visibility of patients and assets, patient safety risks, and fragmented monitoring systems.

"WHX Osaka 2026 confirmed that healthcare institutions across Asia are actively looking for technologies that can deliver measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, and quality of care," said Elodie Szablewski, Head of Global Business at People&Technology.

"We were particularly encouraged by the strong response from Southeast Asia and by the opportunities identified in Japan. The quality of the discussions demonstrated that our solutions are relevant not only as individual technologies, but also as part of a broader smart hospital transformation strategy."

Following the exhibition, People&Technology has begun follow-up discussions with selected healthcare organizations and potential partners. The company will continue to pursue opportunities for pilot projects, hospital visits, technical evaluations, local partnerships, and regional business development initiatives.

Through continued engagement in Japan and Southeast Asia, People&Technology aims to expand the international adoption of Korean AI and IoT-based healthcare solutions and support healthcare providers in building safer, smarter, and more connected care environments.
