Seoul – October 23, 2023 –
Enterprise AI service company People and Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hong Sung-pyo, Lim Jin-soon) has successfully won the 'Smart Hospital Model Implementation and Construction Service Project' for the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center's Pocheon, Paju, and Suwon hospitals, as well as Cheonan Medical Center.
The 'Smart Hospital Model Implementation and Construction Service Project' is part of the 2022 Regional Key Public Hospital Functional Enhancement Project, led by the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center and Cheonan Medical Center. This initiative comes in response to the urgent need for the swift recovery of the medical functions and public health capabilities of regional public hospitals, which have been designated as COVID-19 response hospitals. The project aims to enhance public healthcare capabilities through innovation in smart hospital models.
With the recent wins at Daegu Medical Center in August, followed by Wonju Medical Center, Andong Medical Center, and now the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center and Cheonan Medical Center, People and Technology has secured a total of seven hospital projects, solidifying its position as a leader in South Korea's digital healthcare industry.
People and Technology will use its IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) solution, IndoorPlus+ SmartCare, to maximize the efficiency of hospital operations through automation and digitalization. The solution will provide optimal smart outpatient systems tailored to hospital environments, offering an intuitive user interface and enabling integration with existing hospital systems to enhance medical service quality. The system aims to minimize patient care gaps and reduce the burden on healthcare professionals, ultimately improving the quality of medical services provided.
A representative from People and Technology said, “This project includes optimizing outpatient flow to enhance hospital operational efficiency, introducing a public hospital smart hospital model, and developing and providing various functions to meet performance metrics. We expect this project to contribute significantly to improving the quality of healthcare and restoring public hospital capabilities.”
The company is committed to creating safer, more efficient hospitals for both patients and healthcare professionals, driven by ICT innovation.
