Seoul – October 20, 2025 –
Korea’s leading smart hospital solutions provider People and Technology Co., Ltd. announced on the 20th that it has implemented its AIoMT (Artificial Intelligence of Medical Things) platform, “IndoorPlus+ SmartCare,” at Korea University Ansan Hospital, establishing a new-generation smart hospital platform.

This project aims to integrate hospital asset and patient management systems into a single platform, enabling a data-driven and efficient hospital operation framework. The system provides real-time monitoring of medical devices and patient status while automating administrative and management processes, thereby realizing a comprehensive smart hospital infrastructure.
In particular, the platform allows hospital staff to track the movement history, utilization rate, and maintenance records of medical equipment and to check shortages by ward in real time, supporting systematic inventory management. It also automates the asset rental and return process, helping to prevent loss or theft.
Furthermore, the patient location tracking feature enables real-time monitoring of patients at risk of wandering or elopement, such as those with delirium or dementia, thus helping prevent safety incidents before they occur.
With this implementation, Korea University Ansan Hospital expects significant benefits, including:
Improved nursing workflow efficiency
Reduced risk of medical asset loss
Enhanced patient safety
Optimized hospital operations
A representative from People and Technology stated:
“This project is expected to enhance medical staff efficiency by automating and digitalizing various in-hospital processes while contributing to the realization of a patient-centered smart hospital. In particular, it will further strengthen the foundation for data-driven patient monitoring and the transition toward an AI Hospital.”
Meanwhile, People and Technology’s smart hospital platform has already been adopted by over 50 medical institutions, including Yongin Severance Hospital, Korea University Anam Hospital, and 10 regional public medical centers nationwide.
