Seoul – October 16, 2025 –
Enterprise AI service company People and Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Sung-pyo) announced on the 16th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ATsens Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Jong-wook) for the joint development and commercialization of a real-time patient monitoring solution based on wearable sensors.
This partnership represents a strategic collaboration to deliver more innovative services to domestic and global hospitals and medical institutions by combining the two companies’ expertise — People and Technology’s AIoT-based smart hospital platform and ATsens’s medical device specialization — in the rapidly growing smart healthcare and smart hospital market.

Under this agreement, People and Technology will integrate its smart hospital platform, “IndoorPlus+ SmartCare,” with ATsens’s wearable ECG monitor “AT-Patch.” This integration will enable the real-time collection, analysis, and linkage of patients’ vital data with electronic medical records (EMR). Through this system, hospitals will be able to automate in-hospital safety management and patient condition monitoring, improving efficiency for medical staff and achieving a smarter hospital operation environment.
The AT-Patch is a device certified by multiple regulatory authorities — U.S. FDA, European CE, Japan PMDA, and Korea MFDS — and allows for long-term continuous ECG monitoring for up to 14 days without recharging or electrode replacement. It enables the accurate detection of abnormal cardiac signals such as arrhythmias.
People and Technology already has experience deploying real-time patient monitoring systems in several Korean hospitals through the integration of wearable ECG devices. Through this new collaboration, the company aims to expand its open smart hospital ecosystem, enabling integrated management of various biosignals — not only ECG, but also blood pressure, body temperature, respiration, and more — within a single platform.
CEO Hong Sung-pyo stated:
“People and Technology’s strength lies in our open smart hospital platform architecture, which allows flexible integration with various wearable devices regardless of brand. By combining this with ATsens’s world-class ECG technology, hospitals can achieve a more efficient and safer smart hospital environment.”
CEO Jung Jong-wook of ATsens added:
“The integration of our long-term continuous ECG monitoring technology with People and Technology’s smart hospital platform will greatly help medical institutions monitor patients’ cardiac conditions more accurately and establish a data-driven smart medical environment.”
Through this partnership, People and Technology will further strengthen its open platform strategy for smart hospital realization, while ATsens will broaden the application scope of its long-term ECG technology.
The two companies plan to accelerate joint research and field applications to enhance real-time patient safety management and data-driven treatment sophistication, and to expand into the global smart hospital market together.
