Seoul, September 24, 2025 –
People and Technology was honored to be among the selected start-ups to pitch at the Seoul Investors Forum 2025, held on September 22–23 at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido. The forum is Korea’s premier flagship investment event, connecting global investors with Seoul’s most innovative enterprises.
PnT took the stage during the MENA-focused IR session, where investors from the Middle East gathered to discover promising Korean start-ups. Representing the company, Elodie Szablewski, Head of Global Business, presented PnT’s expansion strategy in the region.
“The Middle East is at a turning point: reliance on foreign nursing staff, shortage of medical professionals, rising healthcare costs, and the growing burden of chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity are pressing challenges. Our solution directly addresses these issues while aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. The timing to scale in the region could not be better,” said Elodie during her pitch.
PnT’s presence in the Middle East is already tangible. The company currently runs three ongoing PoCs – two in Riyadh, one in Dubai – in the healthcare sector, is completing a large-scale contract in Riyadh in another industry, and has had its services in use in the region for over three years. With trusted local partners, PnT is actively preparing to scale its healthcare deployments to support its upcoming IPO and accelerate its role in the region’s transformation of the healthcare industry.
The importance of this alignment was also echoed by Michael Gale, CEO of The Entrepreneurs Group and a panelist at the MENA session, who noted that while the Middle East presents immense opportunity, success depends on offering solutions that truly match local needs and challenges. This is precisely the foundation of PnT’s regional strategy.
Following the pitch, PnT was selected for 1:1 follow-up talks with The Entrepreneurs Group and Polaris Group, opening promising new opportunities for the company’s global growth.
Beyond the MENA session, PnT also actively engaged in the Bio & Healthcare session of the forum. Key investor insights from the panel discussion reinforced the company’s vision:
- Wearables represent the first step of healthcare digitalization.
- AI should prioritize preventive care and support doctors in diagnostics through intelligent data use.
- AI in healthcare requires far greater trust and accuracy than in FinTech, since lives are at stake.
- Proof-of-concept is essential but costly, requiring a careful balance of internal development and early partnerships.
- South Korea’s access to Horizon Europe Pillar 2 opens unprecedented funding opportunities for biotech and AI start-ups.
- Founder-market fit—deep expertise, global outlook, and commitment—is what international investors value most.
The Seoul Investors Forum 2025 welcomed investors from Europe, America, Asia, MENA, and Australia, making it a truly global gathering. With its elegant setting at the Conrad Seoul and its mix of pitch sessions, panel discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities, the event reaffirmed Seoul’s growing role as a hub for global venture investment.
