Seoul – May 27, 2025 –
AI and DX-based solution provider People and Technology (CEO: Hong Sung-pyo) announced on the 19th that it has successfully secured Series C funding, surpassing a cumulative investment of 17.5 billion KRW.
The Series C round attracted investment from ▲KB-Solidus Healthcare Investment Association, ▲Kingo Secondary Investment Fund No.1, ▲Kiwoom Securities, and ▲Meritz Securities, amounting to a total of 7 billion KRW.
Following Series A (4.5 billion KRW) and Series B (6 billion KRW), People and Technology has now secured a total of 17.5 billion KRW in investment.

Founded in 2013, People and Technology began by providing RTLS and IoMT-based smart hospital solutions. It has since expanded into various fields by integrating ultra-lightweight on-device AI solutions and hyper-connected real-time biometric monitoring technologies. With over 100 domestic and international references, the company is now active in smart hospitals, industrial safety, defense, and smart city sectors.
Particularly, its ADX platform—offering end-to-end digital transformation and AI services based on hyper-connected IoT (IoMT) big data—has been widely recognized. The company has received numerous accolades, including IoT Awards, Outstanding SME R&D Performance, Korea Business Awards (ICT), Ministry of Health and Welfare Commendation, and the AIoT Innovation Award for excellence.
Recently, its real-time patient monitoring service IndoorPlus+ was adopted by leading hospitals in Korea, including the National Cancer Center, Yongin Severance Hospital, and Sejong Hospital, proving both technological credibility and market potential. Meanwhile, the VisionPlus+ on-device AI CCTV solution is expanding into public safety and industrial safety markets, including Ulsan’s Ulju County.
A standout feature of VisionPlus+ is its ultra-lightweight AI model, which runs even on low-cost NPU chipsets—eliminating the need for expensive AI server infrastructure while still delivering high-performance AI services.
CEO Hong Sung-pyo stated, “With this Series C funding, we plan to further expand our ADX-based smart hospital solutions, combining hospital digitalization with AI-driven automation.” He added, “We have already supplied the IndoorPlus+ Smart Care solution to over 50 hospitals, and aim to ease the burden on medical staff and improve healthcare quality through real-time patient monitoring.”. He continued, “Through continuous collaborative research with digital pioneer hospitals, we will combine our ultra-lightweight AI core technologies with accumulated real-time patient monitoring data to develop next-generation products and services such as AI-assisted diagnostics.”
