People & Technology has been awarded the contract for the Infectious Disease Data Management and Information Disclosure Project by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).
Project Overview
This project aims to establish a robust data quality management system tailored to the characteristics of infectious disease control. The initiative includes:
- Metadata System Development: Creating a metadata framework to enhance data organization and accessibility.
- Infectious Disease Data Set: Extracting and refining key raw data, such as infectious disease notifications, to facilitate statistical generation and research utilization.
- Early Detection Framework: Establishing a comprehensive data collection and management system to enable early identification of infectious diseases.
- COVID-19 Dashboard Indicators: Designing and implementing a platform to display COVID-19 metrics.
Key Deliverables
Integrated Response Platform
- Development of a cross-agency platform to share real-time information during public health crises, enabling swift interdepartmental responses.
- Rapid dissemination of early warning signals to relevant government entities for coordinated national responses.
